Well Phanindra, i disagree with you in above comments. I believe these are not cheap acts but these are the daring ones. It’s just a begining and all the things can’t be achieved just in one day. For me, I have smelled a good start in Dr. Bhattarai’s stepping but there are lot of challenges infront of him. Even his own party may not give him full support. Besides that, to make a good coalition between all those madhesi parties is going to be a tough task for him. Anyway, let’s hope for the better and wish him good luck for his tenure.

Well, I just find these acts very cheap! Their main concern should be work, rather than walking home in a taxi or in a Nepal made car. Nepalese people should no more enjoy such cheap and bazzare acts. These are all “tamasajs” similar to the stupid acts performed by so called sages in Pashupati during Shivaratri. Wake up, people!
I believe, Nepalese people are looking forward to enjoy peace, prosperity and a good working environment.
But, to be honest, I respect the work that Mr. Bista did during his tenure but Mr. Bhattarai riding around in “Mustang” carrying oneself in business suit made op of foreign textile itself is contradictory. Please think before you make any acts or don’t do it at all.

That’s a great idea Vidhan jee. I appreciate the concept of Biruwa and like it very much. What I also believe is; business and enterprises are run by the unique ideas not just by the money and wealth. We need to do brainstorming for generating new ideas and new possibilities. It’s also the fact that the country doesn’t only run by the politicians, there are so many things that the people should also do from their places. Unity and solidarity are the main strength. Let’s explore new thinking and let’s start something new.

Great piece Utshab ji. I think the youth of the country have waited to long for “things” to improve in our country. If we wait for the government to do something, we will never move forward. Rather, we should just start – group together – and help each other out. Once there is enough momentum, the government will be forced to act.

I am starting a venture named Biruwa that provides solutions to the problems entrepreneurs face in our country. What Roshan Bhattarai wrote in his comment is happening to hundreds of young entrepreneurs. There are businesses in fields like IT that can deal that doesn’t suffer too much due to the political instability. But its the load shedding, security, etc. that gets to them. What Biruwa aims to do is to provide shared office space to young entrepreneurs where they do not have to worry about power, security, internet, etc. They concentrate on their business and we take care of the rest. In addition Biruwa will provide mentorship to young entrepreneurs along with basic business services (legal, accounting, marketing, design, etc.) and when necessary angel financing will be available.

Biruwa will be launched in July in partnership with the Asia Foundation and Entrepreneurs for Nepal.

The most frustrating scenario here in Nepal is; our leaders are just busy within their self interest of power and politics. They do not have time to think over all this kinds of burning issues. The education system needs revolution. It must be based on our ground of reality. more than 70% of things we study upto our degree level have no use in practice. The education system needs to be designed based in skill rather than imposing the vast theories. For this, we all need to be united and should raise a single voice of CHANGE !
